You will see passion in everything our teachers do
True learning is a student driven process. Thus, CDA teachers are the facilitators that guide the learning of their students. Our teachers love what they do and believe that every child matters. Each one goes the extra mile to individualize and ensure that they are challenged.
I am an Early Childhood teacher. I believe that learning should be a fun and interactive process that involves all senses. We will play, sing, paint, read write and more. I look forward to helping your children grow and learn in the classroom.

Director of Student Academic Support Services (DSASS)
I grew up in Indianapolis and graduated from Indiana University with an undergraduate degree in business. After spending six years in sales and banking, I realized my true passion was working with children. I returned to school at The University of Dayton and earned my master’s degree in special education. Prior to joining CinDay, I worked as an intervention specialist at Springboro Community City Schools. I have over 15 years of experience working with students of all ages who have special learning and behavioral needs. I live in Centerville with my two teenage boys, and in my free time I enjoy cooking, reading, and spending quality time with my family and friends. I feel blessed to be a part of the CinDay family and my mission is to work collaboratively with teachers and parents to ensure that all student’s individual needs are met within the walls of this amazing school!
I studied Early Childhood Education at Indiana Wesleyan University as a graduate student and am certified to teach preschool-3rd grade. Additionally, I have a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Ohio University. I have numerous hours of teaching experience in preschool, 1st, and 3rd grade. I absolutely love the wonder, joy, and curiosity that Early Childhood Education allows me to experience each day! My husband, Dave, and I live here in Springboro with our two children Emma and Jake. We are lucky to have our parents just down the street to support us and enjoy spending time with them often. In my spare time you will find me cheering for my kids' sports teams, walking my dog, or outside in the garden. I also enjoy photography, reading, and yoga. I feel very fortunate to be teaching at The CinDay Academy where I am surrounded by people who truly care about the success of each child, and I am inspired everyday as a teacher.
My background in music is as a Board Certified Music Therapist. I received a BA in Music and a BS in Psychology from Plymouth State University in NH. I then earned my Masters in Expressive Therapy from Lesley University in MA. I have been a music therapist for 16 years. In addition, I was a teacher for Music Together®. These mixed-age classes are geared for caregivers and children ages 0-4 to experience making music together. I have also been teaching piano for about 20 years and find great joy in helping students learn to read music for themselves.
I come to CDA with an ‘out of the box’ approach to learning music. I feel that learning music is done through ‘making music’. All children may not have musical ‘talent’, but all children are musical. My goal is to bring out each child’s musicality. My approach is that by first ‘doing’ and then ‘telling’ the musical concept, the lesson will stick and will serve as a building block for future lessons and concepts.
I enjoy gardening, playing with my dog, Sasha, or just enjoying time with the family. I have been married for 15 years to Chris and has 2 boys, Liam and Sean.

My passion in life is to be an inspiring and motivating preschool teacher that provides young children with a concrete education through age appropriate activities. I personally believe that children are the future; therefore, it is essential to allow them to reach their full potential. I want to be able to help and watch children grow and discover the world. As explorers, I believe children should document their progress and visually see their accomplishments. My personal belief is that each child is exceptional in their individual way and should be able to explore the world through their own eyes. I believe that exploration and innovation allow children to learn and excel at their own pace. In an early learning environment, children should engage in play, socialization with peers, be exposed to developmentally appropriate ideas, and engage in interactive activities to promote active learning. As a learner, I believe that children should drive instruction by using their interests, creativity, and curiosity. My hope as an educator is to teach to inspire and influence positive and intelligent individuals of society. My goal is to focus on the whole child, including the emotional, behavioral, intellectual, and physical development.
In addition to my love for teaching, I love spending time with my family and friends. I am also an avid dog lover. I have two dogs, who I rescued from animal shelters. Their names are Beatrice Elizabeth Rose and Jaxon Gray. My hobbies consist of exploring the outdoors, laying in the pool, walking my dogs, and creating hands-on activities for my students. I thank God every day for the blessing he has given me and for future opportunities. I am beyond excited for this school year and watch your children explore the world.

High School Teacher & Student Mediator
Spending one year volunteering in Mexico when I was 18 confirmed my passion for education. Back to Belgium, I started a 3 year bachelor’s degree to become a Mathematic teacher. I took the opportunity to spend one semester in Sweden. Explore, compare, learn, discover about the field of education is what fascinates me. That is why I decided to continue with a master’s degree in Education sciences. While doing my master’s, I took classes to get a diploma in School Mediation. I then married Thibault, and we decided to leave our comfort zone by travelling together. We landed in Springboro for his job. The administrative process took a long time and it gave me the opportunity to substitute one year in Belgium in very different schools (one more technical, one more elitist) and so, meet different challenges of today’s education. When I discovered CinDay Academy, I found a school where differences are taken in consideration, where projects are carried with enthusiasm and where self-questionning for improvement is present. I’m looking forward to teach French and transmit a little bit of my culture, and to teach math, but also to have another kind of contact with the school community by being a school mediator ! What do I do when I’m not at school ? Exploring my new host country, hiking, playing tennis, sewing, reading, cooking.
